Sustain-Pals is a project co-funded by the European Union, specifically for the Single Market Programme (SMP), SMP-COSME-2021-SPP-01 — Sustainability Partnerships for SMEs adopting more sustainable practices.

Project Sustain-PALS
Today, we find ourselves in a complex, competitive, and volatile business environment, where the adoption of sustainability principles is of paramount importance for the steady and sustainable growth of SMEs, and to a large extent, their survival depends on it. To successfully integrate sustainability principles and practices into the business culture of SMEs, they must understand the emerging opportunities and their importance to them.
To overcome this challenge, the Sustain-PALS aims to organize and encourage the cooperation between CSOS and SMES in the territory of Extremadura, and to provide a schema of support to help SMES to evolve into business models more responsible through open dialogue, capacity development and the advice of experts. To do this, it is planned to establish the context of sustainability of Extremadura, identify gaps in sustainability and the training needs of CSOS and SMES, to boost the development of capabilities for the transformation of sustainability and offer coaching sessions that give rise to new business models that enable the sustainable growth of SMES and the progress towards sustainability.
