FUNPASOS is a Spanish non-profit foundation that promotes participatory sustainability in Spain, connecting citizens, businesses and institutions in innovation, training and environmental governance projects.

FUNPASOS – Fundación por la Sostenibilidad Participativa, is a Spanish non-profit organisation, registered in the National Registry of Foundations , which works with citizens, companies and public or private institutions so that sustainability generates environmental, social and economic benefits.
The Foundation is the result of the extensive experience of a group of professionals who, for more than 20 years, have been developing projects in the field of the environment and sustainability, both in Spain and in Europe. We know first-hand the need to involve citizens in the decisions that are made to ensure the fulfilment of our society’s environmental commitments.
FUNPASOS EQUALITY PLAN I
This equality plan is understood as a set of measures aimed at achieving equal treatment and opportunities between men and women and thus eliminating any situation of discrimination that may arise in the Foundation and any of its workplaces.
GRAZING UNDER SOCIAL LABELS
In recent years the surface area devoted to ground-based photovoltaic installations has grown in the region, gaining ground on that devoted to cultivation. The production of solar energy requires significant tracts of land, which means that less land is available for agricultural use.

FUNPASOS helps to make decisions regarding sustainability and to generate trust, in both public and private organisations.
Custody of the Territory
We have developed the first NETWORK OF CUSTODIAN TERRITORIES, in which public and private owners actively participate in the conservation of the territory.
Public Participation and Governance
We facilitate processes and projects of citizen participation and social innovation, applied to the construction and assessment of public policies and services, regulatory development and/or the execution of plans and programmes in the field of sustainability.
Training
We believe that training is essential to achieve climate goals and to fully participate in their benefits.
Corporate Sustainability
We support companies in their commitment to real sustainability. Companies are a key element in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their participation is key to the conservation of natural resources.
Research and Innovation
We promote innovative projects. From the design of the project idea, the drafting of the proposal or the identification of the most appropriate programme, to comprehensive support in the management and technical execution once the projects are approved.
