FUNPASOS is a Spanish non-profit foundation that promotes participatory sustainability in Spain, connecting citizens, businesses, and institutions in innovation, training, and environmental governance projects.

FUNPASOS – Foundation for the Sustainability of Participatory, is a Spanish non-profit organization registered in the National Registry of Foundations that works with citizens, companies, and public and private institutions to ensure that sustainability generates environmental, social, and economic benefits.
The Foundation was born from the extensive experience of a group of professionals who have been developing environmental and sustainability projects in Spain and Europe for over 20 years. We know firsthand the need to involve citizens in the decisions that are made to ensure that our society's environmental commitments are met.
I PLAN OF EQUALITY FUNPASOS
This plan of equality is understood as a set of measures that aim to achieve equality of treatment and opportunities between men and women and being able to eliminate any discrimination that may result in the Foundation and any of its work centers.
GRAZING UNDER SOLAR PANELS
In recent years, the area devoted to photovoltaic installations in soil has grown in the region, gaining ground to the dedicated cultivation. The production of solar energy requires significant extensions of land, and thus leads to a decrease of the soil destined for agricultural use.
WHAT DO WE DO?
FUNPASOS helps to make decisions in terms of sustainability and to build trust, both in public and private organizations.
Land stewardship
We have developed the first LAND STEWARDSHIP NETWORK, in which private and public owners are actively involved in the conservation of the territory.
Public participation and Governance
We facilitate citizen participation and social innovation processes and projects, applied to the development and assessment of public policies and services, regulatory development, and/or the implementation of sustainability plans and programs.
Training
We believe that training is essential to achieving the climate goals and to achieve full participation in its benefits.
Corporate Sustainability
We support companies in their commitment to real sustainability. Companies are key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and their participation is essential for the conservation of natural resources.
Research and Innovation
We promote innovative projects. From the design of the project idea, the drafting of the proposal or the identification of the most suitable program, to the comprehensive support in the management and execution technique once approved projects.
